B.S.K.B. Association has grown year after year and the current membership is around 4880. The members are spread all over Mumbai, its suburbs and outside Mumbai municipal limits,residing far away from the location of the Association building at Sion. This was a deterrent, for members staying far away, to attend, participate in and contribute to various activities of the association due to distance and transportation problems. To overcome this and in order to promote better interaction between members and encourage more social and cultural events, the Association is grouped into eight geographical zones.

The idea was to hold some of the functions at a designated place nearer to each zone.
