Ashraya, completed in the year 2008, is BSKBA’s SENIOR CITIZENS’ HOME, open to all persons above the age of 60. Available at subsidized rates, Ashraya has 26 well planned self-contained rooms to house 40 residents, a well equipped Medical Centre, with a Doctor attending daily and a specialist on call all 24 Hrs. Various programs are conducted on a regular basis to entertain the residents (Yoga classes, Bhajan singing, musical orchestra, health related topics & many more).

Having come a long way since inception, Ashraya has been in great demand. The rooms are full and we have no vacancy to admit anymore of those who are in need of such a facility. Today, there is a compelling need for such Homes and moreover there is a shortage of well administered and state of the art SENIOR CITIZENS’ HOMES.

The waiting list has crossed 40 names and so there is an urgent need to look at expanding the HOME. It is possible by raising one more floor to the present structure. This can add on another 20 rooms and cater to at least 40 deserving members

The cost of the entire project including interior, electrification etc. is estimated to be around Rs. 3 crores. This major project cannot be undertaken without financial assistance from philanthropists like you. We look forward to your wholehearted participation. The Association assures you that every bit of your contribution will be meticulously utilized towards the implementation of above projects.
